Worst company! Poor management!
Barista (Former Employee) –  Eastwood CityNovember 25, 2019
worst work place culture. they pretend to be good even though they are not, they are kind in front of you, praises you but they talk behind your back. they wanted you to be transparent and tell them your work or personal problems but eventually it will be pass on the other stores and everyone will judge you. there's no such thing like partner voice, since they will listen to those senior partners or they will just listen to store managers. i though starbucks is a good platform to work with since it is a very well known company but it is not. before they focus more on their people but today they are just similar with other fast food chains who focuses more on sales and getting the work done. there is no passion at all, even in doing coffee tasting.

Knowledge of different types of coffee and makes, decorates, and serves drinks
Barista (Former Employee) –  Makati CityNovember 21, 2019
Coffee shops get very busy, so everyone needs to be aware of what their role is and stick to it. Also be able to show flexibility in their approach in order to help other team members if necessary.

Productive and a Entertaining Workplace
Barista/Sales Officer (Former Employee) –  Mandaluyong CityNovember 13, 2019
Everyday is a different day; always exciting to learn new things. From recipes to regular customers. There is never a dull moment when you work for Starbucks. Superb culture, making you engage to the new learning. American practice of addressing colleagues as if they are a brother or a sister and the trust that they give to each employee--allowing them to wear the uniform wherever we are knowing that we carry the name of the brand and therefore wouldn't want to act on anything negative in behalf of the company.

As a barista, you will enjoy the environment as you meet different people every single day and you actually make friends with them along the way. The nature of making coffee, too is an amazing experience.
