Specific Job Description (Accountabilities & Requirements)

Productize 3rd party and internal IP by ensuring IP design and secondary views adhere to standards established.

Work closely with IP developers to fully understand IP functionality and who the IP stakeholders are to be able to help meet compliance associated with defined IP quality levels.

Drive IP quality, Functional Verification and design infrastructure standards to be able to promote IP re-use.

Manage IP quality gate to ensure smooth integration in the IP repository.

Generate IP secondary views (IBIS models and files, GBB files, Power files).

Benchmark and recommend automation tools for generation of secondary views. • Perform ESD and SSO simulations for I/O blocks.

Generate functional models and perform verification tasks.

Create gate level views/netlists for fault grading.

Required Skills

Required Experience

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering

Limited experience designing and evaluating analog CMOS or BiCMOS circuits

Knowledge of the Digital Design Flow and RTL design.

Some experience with SPICE type simulations tools, device physics and models and digital simulators such as Verilog

Limited experience designing and evaluating analog CMOS or BiCMOS circuits

Knowledge of Design Verification

Knowledge of DFT architecture and methodologies

Strong programming and scripting skills (C/C++, Perl)

Strong knowledge of semiconductor principles and integrated circuit design and layout considerations.

Good teamwork and able to collaborate with multi-site teams
