Corporate car crash
Social Media Executive (Former Employee) –  LondonSeptember 4, 2017
Horrible place to work. It's a shark tank run by corporate dictators that are acting as directors. Management is the worst that I've ever had the displeasure of working with.
Don't be lulled in by the impressive job descriptions. I would recommend reading the reviews people have left of this company on glassdoor.co.uk and/or finding former employees on LinkedIn to ask them about their experiences.
Pros
Being able to see some smiles on little faces, Concept is great
Cons
Too many directors and managers, The HR were like the Gestapo. I've seen staff afraid of them when they've walked into a room.

Pros
Dinamismo, originalidad
Cons
Falta la profecionalización de algunos directivos.

Over worked
Supervisor (Current Employee) –  London, Greater LondonMay 1, 2017
I have witnessed repeated failure to rosta the right Team numbers for any given part of the season. More of us when less needed and way too few when its busy. This means there is no way to really keep on top of work but with unmatched high expectations. When lack of correct man power is recognised, help is allways insignificant and of no real aid at all. Of recent more duties have been laid upon us as a cost saving measure, which is one of many cuts that just don't seem to be stopping. Recruitment proccess seems suspiciously rigged or unprofessional in experienced selection with many new staff uncommitted from the start of work, which I can't blame them for since introductory training seems vague at best leaving seniors having to conjure up there own blended up guidance.
Pros
Some rest bit from busy days on occasion
Cons
You will wither eventually unless you're a super Champion?

O convívio com as crianças faz a experiência valer a pena.
Animador (Former Employee) –  AmadoraFebruary 7, 2017
Senti-me bastante à vontade. Foi muito enriquecedor.
Pros
Crianças, pessoal jovem e acessível

Fun place to work, however the management are very appalling
Establishments Zupervisor/Actor (Former Employee) –  London, Greater LondonJanuary 10, 2017
Fun place to work, however the management are very appalling. Unable to fulfil contracted hours and keep extending probationary period. Some co-workers were great, however majority of them were very immature. The company tend to hire many school leavers and uni students who don't have an understanding how to behave in a working environment. The hardest part of the job was the break system. You'd get two split breaks, one break which is for 40 minutes and the other break which is for 20 minutes. At the end of your shift you're expected to get your timesheet signed by management (hours that you've worked on the day). So you'd sometimes be waiting around for 15 to 20 minutes to just get your timesheet signed (including a debriefing meeting). The most enjoyable part of the job was interacting with the visitors and seeing their faces light up with smiles and amazement.

Cleaner (part-time) (Current Employee) –  LondonSeptember 14, 2016
it I hot and you are constantly in the dark, you will get bad eyesight and sore feet at the end of every shift. You will struggle with knee issue as well as back issues. the management are very carefree and only would like to talk to you about the work and if your only getting the work done, they do not care about anything else. The hardest part of the job is walking around constantly for 8 hours and the long shift especially on Saturday and Sundays,
Pros
good perks

Actvities Host (Former Employee) –  Sheperds Bush WestfieldJuly 13, 2016
working with children meant that everyday was unique in its own way, this for me was the best part of the job. Seeing how each child reacted to the city, and the different activities really made the long day easier.
A typical day would start by assigning each member of staff to an establishment in their district. You'd have to go in, put the uniform on and fill out any paperwork: such as opening counts for stock, and ensure everything is clean and ready for the first cycle for when the city opens. Each activity could last from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the establishment, and you are to run cycles, following a script, for the entire day. This also includes doing any cleaning or resetting of props after each cycle. Working on your own or with in a group depends on the establishment you're in.
There is no is no strict schedule for breaks, and this is one of the biggest problems in the work place, because on some days you'd go 6-7 hours without a break. This is extremely hard considering you're on your feet, moving around and talking none stop. It's due to the disorganisation of the management team. In addition to that, you work on average 8 hours excluding an hour of unpaid break (you may not always get and hour if breaks are running late), and you're often asked to work extra hours due to shortage of staff. There also have been several incidents where time sheets have been lost, staff are put on incorrect tax codes, or have been underpaid.
However a huge advantage of the place is the co-workers are extremely friendly and love helping each other out, which sometimes

Eye Opener
Zupervisor (Current Employee) –  LondonJune 17, 2016
With this job it is long hours on your feet.
This role has helped me gain more patience with the children as well as the parents. This job is non stop moving, talking/shouting and energy.
My co workers are amazing as we all understand each others issues and try and always help one another.
With the management they try their best to get things done, its still a new company which means there will be hiccups but again they do their best to get the issues sorted as quick as they can.
The hardest part of the job is probably the hectic days. So mainly holidays as loads of people come from over the world and want to experience what Kidzania is like. Another part that is quite hard is, telling the under 4s they can't do the activity.
The most enjoyable part of the job is when you and co workers are on the same level of energy and you can bounce of each other. It is also good to know that what your teaching the children, they take it in and then teach other children about it. So it is nice to see how much of an impact you make on the children.
Pros
Meeting the co workers and free tickets for family and friends.
Cons
Long hours on your feet and not knowing when your break is.

Admissions Supervisor (Current Employee) –  LondonApril 25, 2016
A typical day would be between 9 to 11:30 start and 6/9 finish. Management can at times feel like being in school but the co-workers and the environment made up for it.
Pros
Free breakfast at times, decent pay
Cons
Long unsocial hours
